A Material Story Rooted In Craft

The most notable shift in this colorway comes down to how Jordan Brand handled the AJ13's signature side panels. Rather than sticking with the familiar build, the brand brings black denim to the shoe, paired with cross-stitch detailing finished in a distressed style, the surface deliberately left rough and worn. The result reads unmistakably handmade, echoing traditional workwear construction, a notable departure from earlier AJ13 releases that leaned on leather and mesh.
