Kobe Nike Air Force 1 Low Protro "Dodgers": A Grey And Blue Nod To LA
ALEX NGUYEN•August 12, 2026
Baseball continues to show up across Kobe Bryant's posthumous Nike releases, and this time the story circles back to Los Angeles with the Kobe Nike Air Force 1 Low Protro "Dodgers." The Wolf Grey/Rush Blue colorway draws from the Dodgers' road uniform, but the execution stays restrained rather than turning the shoe into an obvious team-themed design.
A Wolf Grey leather upper sets the tone, giving the shoe a more neutral, easier-to-wear look than the blue-heavy Kobe Protro releases that came before it. The standout detail is a red stitch line running along the seam where the mid-panel meets the heel, a touch first seen on the Kobe 5 and now carried through as a recurring signature across the line. The Swoosh gets a snakeskin texture, a nod to Bryant's "Black Mamba" persona.
At the heel, an oversized "8" continues a jersey-number detail already established across other Air Force 1 Protro releases, honoring the number Bryant wore during the first half of his Lakers career. Kobe's signature sits on the lateral midsole in place of the standard Air Force 1 branding. On the tech side, the shoe runs on ReactX cushioning, paired with an updated outsole pattern built for better traction and finished with motifs tied to Bryant.

The Kobe Nike Air Force 1 Low Protro "Dodgers" extends a run of releases tied to the city that shaped Bryant's career, while the updated Protro build brings a softer underfoot feel. The shoe releases on August 15, 2026, priced at $150.
