Nike Book 2 "Iron Fist" Pays Tribute to Detroit's Boxing Legacy

Nike Book 2 is Devin Booker's second signature model, the Phoenix Suns Guard whose line continues to build its own identity alongside the basketball heritage that shaped his career. The newly revealed "Iron Fist" colorway ties that story directly to the city of Detroit.

Visually, the shoe is dominated by a shimmering metallic silver tone across the upper, built on a hardened Foamposite-style shell that gives it a sturdy, glossy presence. Chrome-finished Swooshes run along both sides, paired with black laces and small striped pull tabs at the heel. A translucent, ice-like outsole carries that metallic character through to the ground, giving the shoe the cold, sharp edge its name suggests.

The design draws its inspiration from the "Monument to Joe Louis," the well-known sculpture unveiled in downtown Detroit in 1986 to honor the heavyweight boxing legend. The sockliner is printed with a detailed map of the city, tracing the neighborhoods and streets surrounding downtown Detroit. Vertical "CHAPTER TWO" branding on the heel tabs marks the shoe's place in the second chapter of Booker's signature line.
