Nike G.T. Cut 4 "Shirley Buckets": Paige Bueckers' Special PE
KEN LE•August 04, 2026
Nike Basketball continues to expand its Player Exclusive lineup for Paige Bueckers with a new G.T. Cut 4 colorway called "Shirley Buckets." The design draws inspiration from the Shirley Temple, a mocktail the Dallas Wings guard has referenced repeatedly on social media and in interviews.

Rooted In A Personal Favorite
Shirley Temple is a non-alcoholic drink made from lemon-lime soda, grenadine syrup, and maraschino cherries. Bueckers once posted on X that opponents dread seeing her show up with a Shirley Temple in hand. That same love for the drink previously inspired Gatorade to create a custom flavor for her, which debuted as a limited release in the summer of 2025.

A Colorway Built Around The Drink
The G.T. Cut 4 "Shirley Buckets" comes dressed in a Laser Crimson/Metallic Silver-Life Lime-Sport Red scheme. The Upper carries a deep cherry red, while the medial side shifts into a softer pink tone, creating contrast between the syrup and soda elements of the drink. On the lateral side, a bubble graphic rises from the Midsole area up toward the top of the shoe. Two cherry details sit on the heel, marked with a "P" and a "5" that nod to Bueckers' name and jersey number.
The asymmetrical build that defines the G.T. Cut line lets each side of the shoe carry its own part of the story without feeling cluttered.
A Companion Drop From Gatorade

Alongside the shoe, Gatorade is also bringing back the Shirley Temple flavor made for Bueckers, paired with a set of accessories that include a Nike collab T-shirt, a water bottle, and a towel featuring the double-cherry graphic and the tagline "Buckets on Tap." This is a separate release from the shoe rather than part of the same drop.
