Aya Brown Brings Vivid Green to the Nike Air Max 95

Brooklyn artist Aya Brown is making her sneaker collaboration debut with Nike, unveiling her first project with the brand under the "Atomic Green" colorway, built on the classic Air Max 95 silhouette.

The shoe holds personal significance for Brown, as the Air Max 95 released the same year she was born and was one of her favorite pairs growing up. That connection gives the collaboration more weight than a typical colorway drop.

Design-wise, the suede upper is drenched in a bright atomic green that runs across the model's signature wavy paneling. Black takes over the lower half of the shoe, wrapping the mudguard and midsole to ground the look and let the green pop above it. University red hits land around the Air units, adding sharp contrast to the palette. Reflective 3M laces and an oval Air Max logo reworked into an "A|Brown" mark on the tongue round out the personal touches that tie the design back to the artist.
